Face Frames

Judith draws inspiration equally from textiles and sculpture. Her earlier interest in puppeteering has sparked a desire to work in larger formats.

At the age of eight,  she discovered the magic of paper maché—and created a white rabbit head, which she proudly wore on a parade float.

Today, that same spirit of imagination and craftsmanship lives on in her Face Frames. These sculptural pieces blend storytelling and whimsy, inviting viewers to imagine the characters and narratives behind each handcrafted head. The open framework becomes a stage, predicting how many faces might be needed to bring a story to life.

Each Face Frame is one-of-a-kind—varying in size, composition, and personality.
